Description
What is the JUNIOR face shield?
The JUNIOR face shield is a product designed for individual protection of the eyes, the mouth and the face of persons in the medical environment. It protects against liquid splashes and against direct contact with the air exhaled by another person. It also protects the face and the mouth from direct contact with the hands and thus eliminates the risk of introducing infections into the upper respiratory ways.
For is purpose of its use?
The shield is used to protect the eyes, the mouth and the face from liquid splashes and to minimise contact of the face and the upper respiratory ways with viruses and bacteria. Please note! The face shield does not protect against infection with viruses or bacteria, but can significantly reduce the risk of viral and bacterial infection and transmission.
How should it be used?
The JUNIOR face shield is used by placing it on the head after adjusting its size to the circumference of the head. The face shield can be adjusted by adjusting the silicone strap and placing the clip in the appropriate hole. Ensure that the face shield is clean and free from mechanical damage.
When should the JUNIOR face shield not be used?
The face shield should not be used for any other purpose than the one for which it is intended. It should stop being used when it has suffered mechanical damage, such as the cracking of the visor, the scratching of the visor, or damage to the head fixation system.
